About Mauro
I have been working for several years in cross cultural settings, in Europe, Asia and Africa, utilizing different frameworks and curricula (Australian, American, Italian, UK IGCSE, Trinity and ABRSM, IB, and University`s MA in music and BA in music), teaching different `subjects`, from strings and performing to analysis of score and composition, from theory of music to history of western music, from orchestra/ensemble music to world music and improvisation, from chorus/voice to piano.
In the last years, I had been working with different range of students collaborating with university, conservatory, academy, international schools. I have also got more the 30 years’ experience as violinist soloist, concertmaster or violin tutti collaborating with different orchestras and concert’s organization as Orchestra A.Scarlatti R.A.I. Naples. Solisti Partenopei, Solisti Aquilani, Orchestre P.R.I.S.M.A.,Orchestra da Camera di Napoli, Bangkok S.Orchestra, Orchestre de la Universite` and I use to play to my students my huge repertoire.

Teaching and making music are the activities about which I have been most passionate throughout my life. When teaching, I give priority to practical music making, improvising and focused listening, as well developing pupils` thinking and communication skills. I have high expectations for students` responsibilities such as effort, progress, achievements and behaviors and I strongly encourage them to believe in their ability to succeed.
My studies with the Carl Flesh school gave me an understanding how exemplify difficult tasks dividing in simple movement complex ones`. I use a cluster of different teaching strategy, starting from direct instruction to arrive problem solving tasks so the student can acquire independence and esprit critique.
