About Felicity
I am a singing tutor with over 11 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology focused on Vocal Traditions. I specialize in vocal harmony and arrangement, helping students build layered and textured vocal sounds. My lessons cover harmony stacking, vocal blending, and counter-melodies for styles like A Cappella, Gospel, Pop, and R&B. I teach school and college students, as well as aspiring professionals, with a focus on personalized learning. Improvisation and composition form a key part of my teaching, encouraging creativity and self-expression. I also include lessons on music history and technology to enrich your understanding of music. In my teaching, breath control and diaphragmatic support form the core of every lesson. I work with Suzuki students and orchestra members to enhance vocal stability and stamina. Stamina-building exercises help you sing longer without strain or fatigue. Vocal health is always a key focus, with warm-up and cool-down routines to protect your voice. You will learn proper breathing techniques to support sustained singing and dynamic control. Exercises are tailored to build endurance while maintaining vocal health. Breath management skills are developed gradually for safe and effective singing. My method is supportive and encourages consistent practice with a focus on technique. I believe a strong, healthy voice is essential for musical expression. You will gain confidence and improve vocal power over time. Lessons balance technical skill with musical enjoyment. Together, we build a foundation for your vocal success. Singing will become more enjoyable and sustainable.
