Breathing control, tone, and resonance form the core of how I approach your sound. Having spent 13 years refining my craft after graduating from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama, I navigate the line between classical roots and contemporary demands. My career has taught me how to belt safely and mix freely in ways that feel sustainable.
Working with gigging singers and nervous auditionees, I address stage fear management alongside technical foundations like pitch control and range extension. Good musical theatre singing starts with the storytelling logic found in a well-written score. I utilize my 13 years of training and performance to ensure that every technical exercise translates directly into better dramatic delivery.
Even when we focus on chest voice or head voice, I find ways to weave in the genius of Sondheim to illustrate why specific vocal choices work.
