About Annika
Aside from my time at Berklee as a Vocal Performance major and Teaching minor, I have several years of experience teaching a wide age range of students how to sing, play guitar, and many other instruments at a local music school. I am lead singer of my own rock band and a classical singer in my time at Berklee. In my free time I love exploring fashion, interior design, baking, and writing music! I have experience running rock bands (both my own and for students), teaching young children and adults at a wide range of skill levels. I look to make students feel comfortable with their teacher and trust that I will never judge or negatively criticize their learning efforts or talents. Music should feel good and learning new things can be frustrating; I hope to be a tutor that makes each student feel safe and catered to in every lesson.

I teach all styles and levels of voice lessons with concentrations in musical theater and rock music.
My approach to lessons is relaxed but in-depth and focuses on anatomy & how the voice works.
Lessons consist of warmups, practicing songs students enjoy, and dissecting technique at a very basic level. Technical skill varies depending on students' needs and skill levels!
I also teach basic and intermediate acoustic guitar, ukulele, bass guitar and piano skills.
