Voice Performance BM degree from CSU Northridge; 10 yrs Experience teaching voice and piano lessons.

Throughout the years I have known Ruby, I have come to know her as an exceptionally talented musician, a dedicated person, and someone who is genuinely passionate about music and helping others develop their abilities. She has a strong musical foundation, excellent musicianship, and a deep understanding of both vocal and instrumental music.
Ruby possesses the qualities that make a successful private music teacher. She is patient, responsible, encouraging, and attentive to the individual needs of her students. She understands that every student learns differently and has the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Her knowledge of music, combined with her caring personality, allows her to help students build not only their musical skills but also their confidence.
As someone who has known Ruby both personally and musically for many years, I have seen her commitment to music and her continued growth as a musician. I have great respect for her abilities as a vocalist and pianist, as well as for her character and dedication.
I confidently recommend Ruby Herrera for teaching private voice and piano lessons. I believe she would be a wonderful teacher for students of different ages and levels, and I am confident that her students would benefit greatly from her musical knowledge, patience, and encouragement.

As my student in Global Music, Ruby was dedicated to her studies and consistently hardworking. As part of a service learning group project for my course, she took a leading role in teaching a world music tradition to young people and did so successfully. She is kind, conscientious, and genuinely interested in helping others succeed. Based on my experience as one of Ruby’s instructors, I believe students will find her encouraging, thoughtful, and committed to helping them learn in their lessons.

My daughter and I have been taking lessons from Ruby for over a year now and she’s great. She is very encouraging, patient, and helps us find songs we want that also help us to learn. She is always kind and really cares about her students. I recommend her highly.

I worked admin for a school where Ms. Ruby was a teacher. She always has a smile for her students, arrived on time, and had comprehensive plans for each lesson that day.

Her care for others shines thru everything she does, wonderful for students who need a little extra encouragement.

Overall, a wonderfully skilled teacher and very kind person.
