About Mia

Writing is something I've come to enjoy at a young age and has come very naturally to me. With my passion for it being so strong, tutoring twice a week during my lunch periods was exciting to me to help those who want insight on their pieces and assistance from someone closer to their age. The main goal is to help you feel confident in your writing and improve your skills for the essay we work on and anything written in the future. Having a good base to work with, whether that be structure or grammar, can really go a long way to making your work thrive!

About the lesson

-Starting at specific areas in your writing that you want addressed / assistance with. Reading your writing all the way through and tips will be suggested along the way!
-Starting with open ended questions about your topic and routes we can take to improve your writing that personally matches to you!
-Writing is something everyone can enjoy and gain an experience and talent in. No imagination is too small and every writing piece is a pleasure to read.
-Constructive criticism is utilized, and admiration on your successes throughout are also highlighted.
-Oriented towards all grades ranging in middle and high school, focusing on creative pieces and book analysis, as well as synthesis, argumentative, and rhetorical essays.
