About Dinil
First year student studying Economics, Finance and Data Science at a Top 10 World University (Imperial College London)! Utilising knowledge from my 5 years of tutoring I hope to boost students' grades by enhancing their understanding and passion for the subject. I have experience tutoring since my time at grammar school where I was a Maths mentor and also frequently tutored Economics at sixth form. My students consistently achieve A* and 9’s during GCSE’s and A-Levels thus I hope to replicate this for my student.

My aim is to provide engaging and straightforward explanations, ensuring plenty of exam practice so that the content is embedded in the long-term memory. Furthermore, I have found fun, interactive and thought-provoking teachers to be the most effective throughout my time at school so I wish to replicate this. I believe fully understanding the content is extremely important for subjects, since this significantly increases the probability of information being recalled and used effectively in exams. Therefore, I often monitor students' understanding of the subject in order to fill any gaps in their knowledge. I provide specifically planned and structured lessons to cater to individual students' strengths and weaknesses to ensure any uncertainty is resolved. This will be delivered through easy-to-follow explanations and past paper practice. OneNote to keep track of lesson notes and we will use scientifically proven methods for effective study!
