About Mariah
I’m Mariah, but you may call me ‘M’ (Is that a James Bond reference?!)
Undoubtedly, I’ve always been exposed to English since a young age. My mother was an English teacher, I watched movies in English religiously every day and I’ve always spoke in English on a daily basis with family and friends.
During my free time, I usually venture in sources that could expand my love for the language. I’ve always been taken with the classics like Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Jane Eyre.
To add, I loved poetry and classics so much that I even took English Literature as an extra subject.

I’ll give you 3 important qualities you will gain by learning English under me:
1. Confidence
Learning and applying a new language on a daily basis isn’t easy. Whether it’d be mandarin or bahasa Melayu, conversing in day to day conversations require you to present yourself with confidence to get your points across.
2. Dedication
It’s not like we were gifted to speak a language immediately when we were fresh out of the birth canal. It takes a lot of practice and dedication.
3. Thought provoking
I won’t just teach you by the book alone, there’s always more to English than mere conversations on what donut flavours you like. English is a beautiful language which either gets its points correct with poise and precision or layered with life lessons and nuanced approaches.
