About Moira
I am a current 3rd year Chemical Sciences Honors student at Trinity College Dublin. My overall grades for my first two years were I. I have an International Baccalaureate degree (40 points) and am capable of teaching at Junior and Leaving Cert levels. Furthermore, I am a current student, so I remember what it was like to learn the foundational concepts, and will always do my best to match your learning style. My goal as a tutor is to always uplift you, and make chemistry and biology accessible to all learning styles, whether that be visual, auditory, or writing.

If you are struggling with chemistry or biology, it is often not what is taught, but how it's taught. Sitting in a classroom listening to a teacher is often not what students need. I learned chemistry and biology very visually, and will apply that to my tutoring sessions. I will use interactive diagrams in my explanations, and will always find creative methods to make the topics clear to you.
If you are a junior or leaving cert student that is interested in chemistry or biology, and just have trouble wrapping your head around some concepts, I'm the tutor for you! I would be available 1-2 hours a week online. I have tutored biology, chemistry and mathematics at a junior and leaving cert level, and have had great results. I will always indulge curiosity and questions. My hope for you is that you will leave our tutoring sessions with a renewed love and passion for the natural sciences.
