About Emily
I am a third year Psychology student at university and I am looking for extra work and experience. I am interested in tutoring as teaching is a possible career path for me. I love literature and reading and want to pass on my passion to other students. I have some experience in tutoring and have 3 A-levels including English Literature and 10 GCSEs

In a Literature lesson I would take the student through their book/poems and analyse the text inputting both my ideas and sparking theirs. I would also go through the steps on writing an essay and what it needs to include. By looking at past questions and essays the student should get a better understanding on how to approach an essay. I would also ensure a lesson on the basics of "SPAG" (Spelling, punctuation and grammar).
