About Molly
I study English Literature at the University of Warwick and am deeply passionate about my subjects. I am a firm believer that reading changes lives and would love to introduce the power of reading to my tutees. I am an aspiring teacher and am excited to explore and develop techniques and methods that will best suit your educational experience.
I studied English Literature for both GCSE and A Level and am well acquainted with the skills and writing techniques that will allow you to achieve top grades in your studies.
I love creative writing and am involved with the Writing Society as well as the Shakespeare Society at university. I am very interested in the ability possessed by art and music to shape and influence literature- particularly how this is expressed in the Romantic movement. I also enjoy exploring how these three elements of art, music, and literature can be amalgamated in film to enhance the creative experiences of the audience in screen plays.

I am looking forward to speaking to my students to determine what teaching styles they think will best suit them. I prefer to keep my tutoring style very flexible so to craft it to the needs of the student.
The methods of examination that I experienced when completing my GCSEs and A-Levels are quite ridged and can be easily mastered once the student is pointed in the right direction. To aid this process I reference the march schemes regularly and believe this is a very effective way to learn how to excel at English literature and consistently produce the right type of essays.
My style of teaching focuses on improving the skills required achieve good grades including methods of text analysis and how to structure and produce high quality essays. I also encourage a creative and innovative response to literature that renders the subject thoroughly enjoyable!
