About Hira
I am a student at Warwick University studying MORSE (Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics). I've been tutoring maths for the last 4 years, teaching students from Year 5 Maths all the way to A level Further Maths.
I believe that education is one of the most important assets a person can have. Hard work beats talent every time and will always come to fruition if done correctly.
Tutoring also available for Piano.
Lessons for practical and/or theory grades 1-6 (or simply for enjoyment!)
Having played the piano for 11 years and passed all grades up to (and including) 6 with either merit or distinction, I am able to teach piano to all ages above 6. I have also passed the grade 5 music theory exam with a merit.
I can teach a variety of genres of music on the piano hoping that I can pass on the knowledge and passion that I play with.

At the beginning of the lesson, we will recap over the last session's lesson and we will go over any homework sheets that I had set. We will work through questions that the student found difficult and I will provide some similar questions to use as warm-up exercises.
After having done this, I will teach the student based on the relevant specification that the student is using in school. This will include running through examples, doing questions, testing understanding and conversing both generally and in depth about the subject.
At the end of the lesson I will set homework for the student to complete and bring back to me to mark.
