I was a former high school math teacher for 5 years and now I am in the process of attaining my physics degree. I find myself to be personable and flexible with my teaching style.

About Michael
My entire tenure as a teacher allowed me to come across many students of different backgrounds and capabilities. My strengths are empathy, patience, and the ability to visualize complex concepts and break them down such that any layperson can understand them. My graduating class had recently asked me to give their graduation speech even after I had decided to pursue another degree in STEM. I enjoy basketball, volleyball, karaoke, drawing, movies, and music in my free time. I currently am a student going for a bachelor's in physics and plan on going for a PhD in either particle physics or astrophysics. I'm also a radio DJ for the college that I attend.

I plan on figuring out where you are on the subject and we can come up with main goals and sub-goals to track your progress. My lessons will be structured in such a way that it is I do, you do, we do. My flexibility and patience will match your learning speed and I am casual in my approach such that there is no pressure on you to feel like you have to perform. I have multiple approaches that we can take to make sure you are getting the most out of your time and efforts. I have worked with middle schoolers up to high schoolers, but, I can help those who are also prepping for certifications or those who are taking summer classes also. I look forward to working with you and seeing you grow in your understanding and enjoyment of math.
