About Srikar
Hi, nice to meet you! I am a biomedical engineer who just graduated from the University of Waterloo. School is hard! I've been in your position before where it's difficult to understand certain concepts, and there aren't opportunities to meet with an instructor 1:1 who will clear your doubts and explain the concept in a patient manner.
I've seen my friends and my sister struggle with this, and so I worked as a free tutor for a long time. I've also started the tutoring club at high school.
Overall, I am interested in hearing your thought process and merely guiding you to the final solution by explaining concepts with real world examples. School can be stressful, but if studied in a proper way, it can be very interesting and can open doors to many different passions :)

- I understand that school is challenging and that there is not many opportunities for 1:1 personalized time with an instructor who can clearly articulate, be patient, and try different approaches.
- Typically, I would like to ensure that students understand the foundational concepts as opposed to memorizing and repeating lessons
- My lessons are targeted towards middle school - high school students for math and science
- I think my strength is that I can explain real world examples of learned concepts to reinforce learning. I believe that the trick is to guide the students in a manner that leads them to the final answer on their own, which will instill long term learning
