About Scarlett
I have been teaching and educating in many subjects since as early as middle school. In 8th grade, I ran an extracurricular for comic book art and one for video production. I also assisted in another teacher's painting class, teaching some of my own skills I've learned. Since then, I have had many jobs, including assisting in a support group for youth and tutoring English/Math to 9th and 10th graders in Massachusetts.

I am a college student at Emerson College who has been drawing and making comics for over ten years. I can teach children ages 10 and higher and young adults to construct their own comics and stories based on either personal experience or narrative stories. In my lectures, I cater to the student's needs - I base my lessons based on the student's strong points and helping them shine, along with refining skills that could use improvement.

Perfect! Scarlett taught my 16 y/o niece how to draw her own cartoon strip from start to finish in a 1 week crash course of 10 hours spread over 5 2-hour lessons. My niece is working on finishing the strip right now, she had a great time and got the skills and confidence she needs from her lessons with Scarlett. My niece thought that Scarlett was very friendly and tailored her lessons to my niece's specific needs and interests.
Regarding my interactions with Scarlett: she was professional, reliable and nice, a pleasure to work with!Perfect! Scarlette is a amazing teacher. She puts a lot of time in preparing the lessons and is very flexible and accommodating to what the student needs. If I had to pick her best trait, I would say its just how much she encouraged and positively motivated me to do better in my own projects.

Details
I would be able to get to any place via MBTA, however for Ubers I would like to request reimbursement (only if possible based on the family's financial status). I use Discord for webcam lessons instead of Skype. Also, please give a 24-48 hour notice if you need to cancel unless there is an emergency (such as a family emergency or a health crisis).
