About Landon
With 12 years of experience teaching the flute, I have guided over 300 students, including high school, college students, and adults. My approach emphasizes patience, clear guidance, and a positive learning environment. I focus on fundamentals like technique, tone, and music theory while incorporating performance practice to make lessons practical and fun.
I strongly believe that every student has a unique musical voice, and my goal is to help them discover it. Many of my students have performed in concerts and competitions, marking proud achievements in their musical journey. Learning the flute with me is not just about playing notes—it’s about expressing emotions and enjoying every step of the musical journey.

"My flute teaching methodology is learner-centered and practical. I believe that clear communication and flexibility are essential for effective flute learning. I adapt lessons according to each student’s learning style and progress.
I explain flute fundamentals such as posture, breath control, fingering technique, tone production, and articulation in easy-to-understand language. I encourage students to communicate openly so lessons remain interactive and engaging.
To strengthen understanding, I use real-life musical examples and case studies from various genres. Students learn how flute techniques are applied in real performances, making lessons more meaningful.
In addition to flute playing, I teach music theory, rhythm control, ear training, scale practice, basic improvisation, and performance preparation. I also help students develop consistent practice habits and confidence. My aim is to support students in becoming skilled and expressive flute musicians
