About Nicholas
Hi, I’m Nicholas! I'm a Western Engineering student who’s passionate about making high school math less stressful and more rewarding. Whether you're tackling algebra, calculus, or anything in between, I’ll help you break down tough problems, build real understanding, and boost your confidence. As a recent London Central Secondary School graduate, I understand the curriculum and I know exactly what it takes to prepare for tests and exams. I can help if you're struggling with the key high school units such as Factoring, Trigonometry, Functions, Vectors, and more! I want to know what YOU need help with and I'm excited to build understanding and confidence together.

I like to begin each session by reviewing the specific problems you're struggling with. This helps us target your challenges directly and build a strong foundation. I believe that understanding how to arrive at a solution is the most important part of any math problem, not just getting the right answer.
Once we've worked through the concepts together, I’ll set up practice problems that you’ll try with my guidance. The most challenging questions on tests often ask you to be able to solve problems in ways that you haven’t done before, which is why I focus on making you think about math in different way. I’ll offer tips, ask questions, and help you think through different approaches.
By the end of the session, my goal is for you to feel confident tackling problems on your own, using multiple strategies and a deeper understanding of the material.
