About Cheryl
Hi, I'm Ms. Cheryl! My desire to tutor children stems from a deep-seated passion for fostering a love of learning in young minds. Having served as a Special Educational Needs educator in MOE schools, I've witnessed firsthand the impact that personalized support can have on a child's confidence and academic growth. This experience, coupled with my genuine enjoyment of working with young children, reinforces my belief that 'if a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.' I am committed to understanding each child's unique learning style and adapting my methods to make subjects accessible, engaging, and ultimately, enjoyable. Seeing a child's eyes light up with understanding and their confidence blossom is truly the most rewarding aspect of tutoring for me!

Besides my experience as a special educational needs officer (SEN Officer) in mainstream MOE schools, I have had years of experience tutoring students at primary level in both English and Math.
My background in special education has equipped me with the patience and adaptability needed to cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring that your child not only grasps mathematical concepts but also enjoys the learning process. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging environment where children can build confidence and achieve their full potential in their academics.
