About Nathan
With a passion for Science, I dove into a BSc in Honors Chemistry before realizing I wanted to be more engaged with Science and not focus on research - so I transferred to a combined degree with Education. After completing the BSc and BEd degrees, I further studied Science in Education by earning my Master's in Education with a focus on Science Curriculum and Instruction. I love Science -and would always try and make hands-on activities, labs or demos for my students. I know there are some confusing aspects to curricular material, so I am here to help.

My lessons include confirming that any theories or information is understood - using anecdotes and metaphors when needed to help get the key points across. I then will engage with sample problems, wrapping up with some practice questions for you to try. I taught for almost 10 years in a personalized self-directed education model so I'm very comfortable tailoring my tutoring sessions to meet the individual needs of my students.
