Test prep can be stressful, but I make it productive and as enjoyable as possible. My goal is to improve scores while building confidence and skills for future challenges. I enjoy teaching standardized tests and have over a decade of experience helping students prepare for the LSAT, GRE, GMAT, SAT, and ACT. Whether in person or online, I create effective learning environments that suit each student's schedule and preferences. I’ve taught in-person classes, workshops, and boot camps at TCU, as well as tutoring individually.
With over 15 years of experience, I am a dedicated and compassionate educator who views education as a gift. I aim to pass this gift along by instilling in my students a love of learning, confidence in their abilities, and practical skills to achieve their goals. I believe every student is unique, with different strengths, challenges, and learning styles. My lessons are tailored to individual needs, ensuring my approach is effective and personalized.
I take my role seriously but also recognize the pressures students face. I strive to create a non-stressful environment because stressed students don’t perform well on tests. While lessons aren’t a "party," I try to make learning a positive experience. My approachable demeanor helps students feel comfortable and reduces anxiety, allowing them to focus on the material rather than the test.
I hold a BA in Journalism from Texas A&M University and a JD from Tulane Law School. My background in law, along with my years of experience teaching standardized tests, has equipped me with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. I use these skills to help students master challenging content and develop effective test-taking strategies.
