About Nate
With 16 years in swimming, including competitive experience and training with a national squad, I offer deep knowledge of the sport. I also hold a second Dan black belt in martial arts, with over 16 years of practice. My teaching spans all levels, from competitive swimmers to beginners, including children with disabilities and adults overcoming water fears, focusing on confidence-building and skill development.

My swimming lessons focus on a hands-on, personalized approach designed to build confidence and skill in the water. I use techniques like demonstration, practice, and feedback to ensure each student receives individual attention. Lessons last between 30–60 minutes, depending on the student’s age and ability, providing ample time for learning. As an Austswim certified instructor and Swim Australia foundation coach with CPR, first aid, and WWCC certifications, safety is a top priority. With 16 years of swimming experience, including 10 years of competitive swimming, and 3 years of teaching, I offer expert guidance to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
