About Ram Lochan

Hello, I'm Dr. Ram Yadav.

I hold a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and a Doctor of Medicine (MD), with over thirteen years of experience teaching medical, dental, nursing, and allied health students. I am also a qualified trainer and assessor (Cert IV TAE).

Why do I teach? Because I believe every future health professional deserves a teacher who is both knowledgeable and deeply committed to their success. I don't just deliver facts. I guide you to think critically, connect concepts to real clinical cases, and build confidence that lasts beyond the exam.

In my classes, you will find a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. I use active learning, clear feedback, and one‑on‑one support to help you master the foundational sciences. My door is always open for your questions.

You are here to become a skilled, compassionate practitioner. I am here to help you succeed. Let's get started.

My Teaching & Tutoring Approach
Teaching Methodology
My teaching is student-centered, active, and evidence-based. I use three core techniques:

Flipped classroom – Students preview content via short videos or readings; class time is dedicated to application, problem-solving, and case discussions.

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) – Clinical cases (e.g., a patient with chest pain) drive exploration of underlying anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. This builds integrated, long‑term understanding.

Active recall & spaced repetition – Low‑stakes quizzes, think‑pair‑share activities, and digital tools (Kahoot, H5P) reinforce retention.

I provide scaffolded, immediate feedback and adapt my language and pace for diverse learners, including non‑English backgrounds. One‑on‑one academic counseling supports students who need additional help.
