About Kanika
I teach Sociology, allied social sciences and Yoga in Mumbai (online and in person). Depending on my students' requirements, my style ranges from gentle to intermediate. I have 15 years of experience practicing yoga and 4 years teaching yoga. I hold an M. Phil degree in Sociology from University of Mumbai and have authored in various publications India and Overseas.

My style of teaching is student centered, and I adopt a democratic model of teaching, and I tailor-make sessions as per my students' requirements. The usual structure of my class is interactive, and my special feature as a teacher is that I make the subject relatable for the student. My Sociology classes are geared towards students from the 11th, 12th grade and college students. My yoga classes on the other hand, are geared towards people who'd prefer a practice of gentle and intermediate yoga sessions, with a purpose to improve health, strength and flexibility with an enhanced sense of well being.
