About Ayla
I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. I specialize in joyful group sessions that bring families closer through music. My classes welcome parent-child duets, sibling trios, and all kinds of family vocal teams. We sing together using partner harmonies, call-and-response patterns, and fun sing-along games that build both musical skills and connection. Whether it’s a classic Disney tune, a powerful Gospel chorus, or a heartwarming Musical Theater piece, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. I design each session to be playful, inclusive, and full of laughter. Through singing, students learn teamwork, listening, and how to blend voices with care. Even beginners quickly gain confidence as they make music in a safe and supportive group. I focus on making every family feel like a musical team, not just a class. These lessons aren’t just about hitting the right notes—they’re about sharing moments, building memories, and creating harmony at home. In my singing lessons, we begin by listening—not just to sound, but to the self beneath it. I guide students into quiet awareness through subtle breath work and simple meditation, creating a space where the mind softens and the voice begins to emerge. Each session is a gentle invitation to connect with the inner voice, not just the audible one.
Vocal journaling helps students notice their emotional and vocal landscapes, building self-trust and reflection. We use imagery to paint sensations into tone—singing like sunlight, riverwater, or the breath of wind. Before singing a single note, we pause for mental clarity, setting intention not just for what is sung, but why.
I emphasize vocal placement awareness to help students find ease in their body’s resonance. Phrasing becomes a personal story, shaped by meaning, not just measure. For those seeking emotional grounding, I offer tools to anchor and release. For independent, expressive learners, I open pathways to explore without judgment.
Physical ease is gently cultivated, tension released like untying a knot. We work softly, steadily, allowing confidence to grow at its own pace. Through this mindful, creative process, each student discovers that their most powerful sound comes from within. And together, we honor it.
