About Willa
I have a formal background in music and over nine years of experience coaching singers at various levels. My training includes a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance and years of experience in both teaching and live performance, which I bring into every session with energy and care. My vocal journey began with classical training, later branching into pop and contemporary styles. I’ve performed solo and in ensembles, and have worked with diverse voices across age groups. This wide exposure has shaped my adaptable teaching methods and a deep understanding of vocal health. I value each student’s unique tone and potential. My teaching style blends technical discipline with personal encouragement, helping students grow in both skill and self-belief. Watching students find joy and confidence through their own voice is the most rewarding part of what I do.

I emphasize ear training, dynamic control, and phrasing to develop your voice as a flexible and expressive instrument.
Performance skills are a key part of our lessons. I help you overcome stage fear, build presence, and learn how to connect with an audience. Mock performances and expressive techniques are integrated regularly, preparing you for recitals, auditions, or any vocal setting.
