About Shantanu
Hi, I'm Shantanu!
I'm a software engineer based in Bangalore with 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production systems. I currently work on an enterprise platform at Lowe's India, and earlier I worked at TCS on products used by businesses across the country. I also completed an internship at JPMorgan Chase, where I got an early look at how large engineering teams work.
My day-to-day work is in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and event-driven systems, so what I teach comes from real use, not just textbooks. I know what employers look for, because I write, review, and ship code every week.

I'm a working software engineer with 5+ years of experience building production systems, and I teach the way I wish I had been taught: by building real things. Instead of memorizing syntax, you learn why a concept exists, where it is used in real projects, and how to apply it yourself.
Teaching techniques and methods
Concepts are explained with simple analogies first, then shown in code
Hands-on practice in every class: you write the code, I guide you
Small projects that grow over time, such as a library system, a REST API, or a data tracker
For SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB), you work on realistic datasets and learn to design schemas and write efficient queries
Mistakes are treated as part of learning, and we debug together so you learn to fix problems on your own

New concept explained with examples (20 minutes)
