About Parker
Hi! I'm Parker, a 17-year-old software and AI engineer based in Herriman, Utah, with a passion for programming, game development, and helping others learn to code.
I currently work as an AI Skills Engineer at CHG Healthcare, where I develop AI tools, software integrations, and automation systems. Outside of work, I've built and published my own Roblox games, including Nightmart, a horror game, and Buy A Business, a business simulation game.
I understand how intimidating programming can seem when you're first starting out. My goal is to make it approachable, engaging, and rewarding by helping students build projects they're genuinely excited about.
As a tutor, I'm patient, encouraging, and focused on making sure students understand what they're creating rather than simply copying code. I adapt my teaching style to each student's experience, interests, and learning pace.
I especially enjoy helping younger students discover that they can go from playing their favorite games to actually creating their own.
Whether you're completely new to Roblox Studio or already experimenting with scripting, I'd love to help you develop your skills and bring your ideas to life!

My lessons focus on learning programming by actually building games, rather than just watching tutorials or memorizing code.
I teach Roblox Studio and Luau scripting through hands-on projects tailored to each student's interests and experience level. Whether you want to make your first Roblox game or improve a project you've already started, we'll work toward something you can actually play.
A typical 60-minute lesson includes:
- 10 minutes: Review progress, answer questions, and set a goal.
- 15 minutes: Introduce a new programming concept with a practical example.
- 25 minutes: Build and script a feature together in Roblox Studio.
- 10 minutes: Test, debug, and discuss what to work on next.
Topics I can teach include:
- Roblox Studio fundamentals
- Luau scripting, variables, functions, and events
- Interactive objects and gameplay mechanics
- Currency, upgrades, and progression systems
- User interfaces and basic debugging
- Developing and improving your own Roblox games
What sets my lessons apart is my experience building and publishing Roblox games alongside my professional work in AI and software engineering. I focus on helping students understand why their code works, not just copying scripts.
These lessons are designed for beginners and early-intermediate learners, particularly kids and teens interested in turning their Roblox ideas into playable games. No previous programming experience is necessary.
Lessons are conducted online, with parents coordinating scheduling for younger students.
