About Lian
I bring 12 years of ESL tutoring experience, teaching High School and College students and guiding around 150–200 learners successfully. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, flexibility, and continuous improvement. I believe that learning English should be a step-by-step process where students feel supported at every stage.
I use simple explanations and structured lessons to make even difficult topics easy to understand. I also include real-life examples and practical exercises to help students apply what they learn. I pay close attention to each student’s progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve.
One of my key achievements is helping students gain confidence and achieve better results in exams and communication. I am dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential.

My ESL teaching methodology combines creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability to create a strong learning experience. I believe that students learn best when they are actively involved, so I use creative activities such as discussions, storytelling, role-play, and real-life situations.
I focus on building critical thinking skills by encouraging students to analyse ideas, ask questions, and express their thoughts clearly. This helps them improve both their language skills and confidence.
As a mentor, I guide my students with patience and understanding. I take time to understand their learning styles and adapt my teaching methods accordingly. I create a safe and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn.
Accountability is a key part of my teaching. I set clear goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback. I encourage students to stay consistent and responsible.
In addition to ESL, I also teach related subjects to support academic growth. My goal is to help students become confident, skilled, and independent learners.
