Students are invited to direct the learning. The goal of the lessons is to figure out what excites you as a writer and focus the exercises, reading, and short lectures around those areas where the energy is, ideally working toward completion of a short story, novel, screenplay, game script, graphic novel, or collection of poetry.
Tips and suggestions on how to stay motivated and cultivate good writing habits and practices are also available.
The ratio between writing process and craft technique is tailored to each student.
