About Mackenzie
Hello!
My name is Kenzie, I am currently a student attending WVU who is pursuing a bachelors degree in psychology. Oddly enough, I plan on taking this to law school with me rather than pursuing something greater in the psychology field. I love studying psychology for what it is and not what it is stated to be, at WVU my professors have only taught facts, none of the pseudoscience that the internet leans toward. I find psychology to be a very useful subject to have correct knowledge for, and find it to be one of the most interesting subjects that can possibly be taught. I chose psychology as my major because of how interesting it can be, and it can only be interesting based on how the information is fed to you. Luckily, after my first pyschology course, I knew this was something I could study for four years.

First off, let me tell you what I dislike from a teacher/professor...
I cannot sit through something that is taught like this:
"Here are 294 words we will be having a test on next week, memorize the definitions"
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
The best way I learn is from actually learning how those terms have been applied in the real world, and how I can relate to them and try to make them apart of my everyday language. I love studying psychology experiments and fitting words that might be troubling into what I am reading about to make sense of it all. I like to include videos and credible outside sources into my lessons to give greater knowledge about how psychology has changed overtime.
