About Emily
Emily graduated from Yale University, where she majored in English. While at Yale, Emily was a varsity athlete (lacrosse), a freshman outdoor orientation trip leader, and researcher in the Yale Office of Sustainability. She also studied French throughout college, studied abroad in Avignon, and lived in Paris and Corsica for several months after graduating. Upon her return to the U.S., Emily worked for a technology startup and later a human rights nonprofit, both in New York City, before deciding that she wanted to become a doctor. She completed her pre-medical studies at Bryn Mawr College and is now a medical student at Columbia University in New York. She has tutored for over 10 years with several professional companies and has worked with clients from elementary school to graduate school level. Her area of focus is college and medical school admissions coaching, including personal statement writing, test preparation and interview coaching.
