About Rachel
I have been a math teacher for 7 years. I am known as the "favorite" teacher at my school; not just for teaching math, but for establishing relationships with my students. Having open communication is the first step before being able to successfully teach students because you want the student to be comfortable to open up and ask for help when they need it. My goal is for you to succeed with me and to leave feeling confident with the material.

-I have been teaching high school math for 8 years. I have endless worksheets, guided notes, and practice problems for all topics ranging from pre-algebra to pre-calculus.
-I will have the students answer a few problems on their own first and show me their work so I can analyze where they are making common errors, and know what to expect when moving forward.
-I like to model for students how I am solving the problem, where there are common errors that many students perform and how to avoid those.
-Then we practice various levels on the problem until they are comfortable with the topic.
