About Yan
I am a medical student who's moving onto Year 2 soon, and I have been in the shoes of stressed IGCSE exam takers. I remember feeling overwhelmed when I was 16 because there was too much content and too little time. Eventually, I realized linking up concepts helped me see the big picture, and when things make sense, it's easier to relate and answer questions. Marks don't determine how smart you are; they determine how much you understand. When this epiphany came to me, it was when my grades skyrocketed. So, if you are an athlete or someone with another commitment that is also running short on time, let me help you out a little!

I have taught IGCSE Maths and Biology for 4 years now, and I have also coached international students with English. The thing I enjoy most about teaching is seeing students improve, and being there for them as they apply foreign concepts.
I am a competitive dancer, so I resonate with athletes who are trying to complete IGCSE. It always feels like there isn't enough time when we're juggling two ends of life, and due to this, I often try to simplify as much content as possible!
