About Pashka
Hi! My name is Pashka, and I’m so excited to meet you. I recently graduated college with a bachelor's degree in psychology, but most of my life experience comes from the six years I spent working at Chick-fil-A. Not only did it allow me to develop my people skills, it allowed me the opportunity to travel around the country opening new restaurants. This is where I found myself forced to use my Spanish for the first time. After working in several all-Spanish kitchens, I decided I needed to learn to communicate with the people I was working with. I asked questions, took notes, listened to audiobooks, and practiced nonstop till I was able to communicate clearly and effectively. My hard work paid off and I was even able to take a solo trip to Colombia! My lesson plan is built off of these experiences while also being mindful of the structure and expectations of a Spanish classroom.

Hello fellow linguists! Like many of you, I grew up taking Spanish in high school and college and found it challenging. Vocab flash cards, conjugation charts, and endless different tenses to memorize made it seem nearly impossible. After spending a good bit of time out of the classroom and around native speakers, I realized it’s not nearly as difficult as it seems! I spent a whole year studying individually and with native speakers and filled pages full of notes. Using these I developed a lesson plan that will help you memorize what you need to know without hours of charts and fill-in-the-blanks!
