About Labib
Hello, my name is Labib Khan and I am a Year 10 student at Melbourne High School. I love math and helping other people learn. I know how to study and solve problems well because I got a top 10 score on the SEHS entrance exam.
I'm patient, easy to talk to, and dedicated to making a safe place for students to learn where they can ask questions and build their confidence. I take my lessons seriously, come ready, and make sure that each student gets the help they need to reach their goals.
I am currently a student, so I can relate to the problems students face and explain things in a way that makes sense and is useful. I want to help students make real progress and enjoy learning math, whether they want to strengthen their basics, raise their grades, or push for higher achievement.

Hi, I'm Labib Khan, a Year 10 student at Melbourne High School offering math tutoring for primary and secondary students up to Year 10. My approach focuses on building confidence and understanding by teaching them the reasoning behind methods, and not just the formula. I explain concepts step by step, break difficult problems into simpler parts, and adapt explanations to the student's learning style. I aim to make lessons supportive, and make excelling students with all the skills they need.
Typical lessons run for 60 minutes, though shorter or longer sessions can be arranged based on the student's needs.
As a student at Melbourne High School who achieved a top 10 score in the SEHS entrance exam, I bring strong academic experience as well as an understanding of how to succeed in competitive and school mathematics, and want to help my students mirror the techniques I have used to excel in their own way.
