About Zara
I am passionate about helping children, like myself, find their footing in English. As a former second language speaker, I faced challenges with spelling and often struggled to participate in class. However, with the incredible support and encouragement from my teachers, I have gained confidence in my English skills, particularly in creative writing and grammar.
In fact, I achieved top marks in grammar and writing on my latest NAPLAN assessment (2022).

My name is Zara, and I'm a Year 11 student at Rossmoyne Senior High School offering English tutoring services for primary school students in Years 3 to 5. As someone who began in EAL/D and progressed to ATAR English Literature, I have a unique perspective on building strong English foundations.
I specialize in:
- Strengthening basic English concepts
- Improving articulation and communication skills
- Helping with school work
- Developing English skills based on SCSA (School Curriculum and Standards Authority) guidelines
Tutoring Details
- Location:Riverton Library
- Session Length:1 hour (recommended for optimal focus)
- Availability:After school hours and Saturdays.
My Approach
I aim to create a supportive learning environment, drawing from my personal experience as the oldest of three children. My goal is to help students feel confident in their English abilities, both for academic success and as a life skill.
