About Soumyaa
Hello, my name is Soumyaa Patil and I won't be the mean teacher whose lessons you dread but a guiding companion. I’m a Year 12 student studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and I know first-hand that these subjects can sometimes feel like they were designed to confuse people. That’s where I come in.
I’m friendly, patient and good at explaining tricky topics in a way that actually makes sense. Whether it’s algebra, chemical calculations or biology processes with names no one can pronounce, I’ll help break everything down into simple steps.
Because I have studied these subjects before and achieved top results, I understand the latest content, exam pressure and the best revision techniques that genuinely work. I know what it’s like to be stuck on a topic, so I make lessons supportive, relaxed and focused on building confidence.
My goal is to help students improve grades, feel less stressed and maybe even start liking the subject a little more.

My lessons are open to anyone in Year 9 to Year 12s of any level!
A typical lesson will be 1 hour and will cover content learning and exam questions. First an optional assessment will be done to identify strong and weak areas. Then we will cover each topic every 2 lessons. If there is an upcoming test, the topics on the test will take priority so the student does not become overwhelmed. The whole journey will be targeted to the student to ensure progress will be made. Since I am a student too, I can provide insights from my own exams from the 2025 cohort as well as technique that I myself have improved from.
