My Techniques and Teaching Methodology
I believe math doesn't have to be intimidating when broken down into manageable pieces. Because I am currently completing my studies, I know exactly what it feels like to feel stuck on a difficult problem. My approach is patient, encouraging, and highly collaborative. I don't just lecture; we solve problems together, slowly transferring the confidence to you so you can do them independently. We use active recall and past exam questions to build real test-day confidence and eliminate exam anxiety.
Typical Length of a Lesson
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long. This is the perfect time to review homework, master a new concept, and practice problem-solving without getting overwhelmed. However, I can offer 90-minute sessions for junior high school students preparing for major exams.

I am a top-achieving Year 13 student graduating this November. I hold an NCEA Excellence Endorsement in Mathematics, meaning I have thoroughly mastered the material and understand exactly what examiners look for in a top-tier answer.
