About Chris
Having taught English at university, highschool, and middleschool levels in America, accessibility is at the heart of what I do, so I strive to create a safe, inspiring, and stimulating environment for students of all ages.
I recognize that learning is a sensitive, subjective experience and that one-size-fits-all approches simply don't work, so my lesson plans are flexible and considerate of a student's needs, challenges, curiosities, and concerns.
Sessions with me are lighthearted, collaborative, and goal-oriented, so you can leave each session feeling more self-reliant, capable, and empowered to take on new challenges with your skills and abilities.

A typical session begins with an informal evaluation and assessment of your personal writing related goals, questions, and challenges you may be facing this week. From there, I design the session around your needs, and curate the relevant resources and exercises to address your curiosities.
These lessons are for middle school, highschool, and college level students who want to:
- improve their reading, writing, and communication skills.
- better express themselves and their ideas.
- learn how to make effective comprehensive, analyses, and intertext connections.
- develop a rich and reliable vocabulary.
- satisfy the requirements of their assignments with style, grace, and eloquence.
- be the sharpest reader and writer they know.
