I am a passionate portrait artist specializing in charcoal, graphite, watercolor, and acrylic mediums. My teaching style focuses on building a solid artistic foundation, starting with mastering outlines — the backbone of every artwork. I guide students through techniques to create accurate proportions and train their observation skills. Once the structure is set, we explore the art of shading, learning how to control values, capture highlights and shadows, and create smooth transitions that bring depth and life to a drawing. In painting, I begin with strong outlines, then teach the skill of mixing colors, especially achieving realistic skin tones, and applying them in layers for a natural, vibrant finish. My goal is not just to teach techniques, but to inspire creativity, patience, and confidence, helping each student discover their own artistic voice.
