About Michael
I have 25+yrs of AutoCAD experience. I taught AutoDesk for the Corps of Engineers. I am easy to get along with, and will make sure you 100% understand before moving on. Dozens of people that I have trained or taught are now heads of drafting departments or licensed architects, engineers, or designers.
I have worked for factories, architecture firms, engineering firms and millwork. I have worked on projects that range from stadiums, most of the Chicago El system (CTA), plus tons of smaller projects. Over the years, AutoDesk has ranked me in their top 50 proficient users, multiple times. My last job title was "Sr design department director" which is fancy corporate talk for head of CAD department. Unfortunately, injuries from when I was in the Army have now made it hard for me to leave the house, so now I teach. I also teach kids locally and I am a scout leader, so I am fine working with any age or skill level. I'm from Chicago and Saint Louis so I don't have a thick accent but I have lived all over so I am good at understanding thick accents.
As for education, I went to undergrad at Washington University in Saint Louis and Grad at Columbia.

My teaching style is very customized to the student since everyone learns differently. I have taught AutoCAD for the Army with the Corps of Engineers and at high school and college levels.
