About Sia
I am a committed violin tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Music. I have worked with children, teenagers, and adults, helping them develop technical excellence, musical understanding, and the confidence to perform with precision and expression across different musical settings.
My teaching philosophy is centered on patience, encouragement, and personalized instruction. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual strengths, learning styles, and aspirations. I strive to create a positive environment where students remain motivated, overcome challenges, and enjoy steady musical growth.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy performing chamber music, exploring diverse violin repertoires, arranging musical pieces, attending concerts, and learning new educational approaches. These experiences enrich my teaching with fresh ideas, practical performance insights, and creative learning activities that inspire students to achieve their fullest musical potential.

Every violin lesson is carefully designed to match the student's age, skill level, and musical ambitions. Whether you are beginning your musical journey or refining advanced performance techniques, I provide structured instruction that develops posture, bow control, intonation, finger placement, rhythm, tone production, and expressive interpretation through engaging and goal-oriented lessons.
My teaching approach combines technical exercises, scales, sight-reading, ear training, music theory, and carefully selected repertoire. Students receive personalized guidance, constructive feedback, and practical practice strategies that encourage consistent progress, build confidence, and establish a solid musical foundation for long-term success.
Lessons include opportunities to explore a variety of musical styles, from classical and folk to contemporary and cinematic music. I also focus on performance preparation, ensemble skills, musical creativity, and stage confidence, ensuring students become versatile violinists who enjoy expressing themselves through music.
