About Patty
"Have you ever wondered why you feel anxious while trying to hit the right notes? I work with hobbyists, working professionals, and kids who often feel like their voice is hidden behind stage fear. With my BMus Popular Music degree from Queensland Conservatorium and additional studies in Argentina, I provide a framework for pitch control and phrasing.
Over 400 students have passed through my studio to learn how to manage their nerves and improve their harmony singing. My teaching style is informed by 13 years of performing Spanish vocals, which naturally integrates into our work on rhythm and performance.
You will find that I prioritize your individual growth by focusing on the mechanics of breath and stage presence. It is important to me that you feel heard and understood during our sessions together. I am here to help you navigate the complexities of your instrument while maintaining a positive atmosphere."

"Honestly, I find that most singers actually have perfect rhythm but stop themselves because of overthinking. We break down your favorite songs into manageable chunks to fix phrasing and harmony issues.
I use my background in Latin music to help you find your natural voice. My degree provides the technical foundation for everything we do.
You receive recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to keep your voice healthy. I enjoy working with working professionals and hobbyists who want structure in their learning. Kids also find the simple exercises effective for building long-term vocal habits.
It is quite rewarding to see you gain clarity in your pitch over time. I am looking forward to hearing your unique sound."
