About Cheryl
Grammar often feels like a giant wall that blocks you from actually speaking. I admit that I struggled with strict textbook conjugations when I first started learning music theory in Spanish. We fix this by focusing on conversational fluency and travel Spanish first. I provide weekly conversation practice recordings that we review together in our next session. This helps adults and exam students refine their pronunciation and verb conjugation naturally. We look at vocabulary building through the lens of real world interactions. My goal is to keep our sessions light and conversational while we cover the necessary technical ground.

I have spent 11 years navigating the nuances of Latin American and Castilian variants. My background involves performing across Australia while maintaining strong connections to my heritage. I often find that students benefit most from learning the cultural context behind the grammar. I assist advanced learners and those preparing for the DELE exam in reaching their objectives.
