About Journee
Supportive and patient guidance remains the core of my teaching style for the 13 years I have spent in this field. I focus on clarifying accounting principles for university freshmen through to those attempting a career switch into the industry.
My approach prioritizes building a foundation in double-entry bookkeeping and GAAP fundamentals before moving into complex financial statements. Students often find that starting with the basics helps them gain real workplace confidence. I have spent 13 years refining how I explain ledgers, trial balances, and closing entries. My experience includes assisting bookkeeping beginners with payroll accounting and complex journal entries.
I find that steady progress creates a comfortable learning environment for all my clients. Developing this expertise through my BBA from Columbia Business School has shaped how I communicate technical concepts today.

Starting with an assessment of your current knowledge ensures that our first session hits the ground running. A single 60 minute block covers enough ground to identify exactly where your QuickBooks or financial statement skills need support. I provide practice sets with worked solutions that allow you to test your understanding of GAAP fundamentals independently between our meetings. My BBA from Columbia Business School informs the structured way we examine ledger entries and trial balance reconciliations.
I expect that you will arrive ready to tackle payroll accounting or closing entries with a notebook in hand.
