I was a former student of Zad and I highly recommend Zad as tutor. When Zad was teaching my class, he often stayed late after school hours in his office just so that students who needed his help could access him. He never rushes in his explanation and always takes the time to explain to students the concepts thoroughly until they understood the concepts.

Zad Bouchedid has a high level of integrity and honesty. His mathematical mind set sees no benefit in deceiving or telling white lies and that makes him trustworthy. I have known Zad for 12 years in both a professional and friendship capacity, and I have not found him to be dishonest. He is motivated by doing the right thing in the correct manner. Effectiveness and efficiency are high priorities in his work. His approach to teaching is the same: he focuses on providing his students with a solid basics foundation of academic knowledge and building to the complex levels using life examples from his diverse work experience as an engineer in the Royal Canadian Navy, as assistant project manager at Davies Ship yard, working as an engineer at BC ferries and instructor at BCIT.

He is a good teacher because he has knowledge, experience but also patience. He is mild tempered, calm, understanding, cares about the people he teaches and takes the time to explain a topic from various angles so that the listener walks away feeling confident with what they learned.

Zad is patient, down to earth and challenges you in creative stimulating ways. He gives you tools to realize concepts to remember and enriches your learning experience to empower you. I definitely recommend Zad!!!
