About Hannah
I have always had a passion for art and design, at school I completed both GCSE and A Level Art and design. After school I completed an Art Foundation and ABC diplomas in photography and life drawing at the city of Bath college. I then completed my undergraduate in Theatre design for performance at the University of the Arts London (Wimbledon College).
After my studiesI worked internationally in Venice, Italy and Trinidad designing and creating costumes for the carnivals. On return to the UK I worked with a product design company in London for 3 years. I’m experience in industry allows me to support my students discuss and discover possible future careers that utilise their creative skills and passion.
I completed my PGCE and gained qualified teacher status from Goldsmiths University of London in Design and technology. I have 5 years of classroom teaching in both art and design technology with a textiles specialism where I have support my students through GCSE, A level and applications to higher education institutions.
Alongside my teaching I continue to practice and develop my artistic skills through commissioned paintings/drawing and tailored garment construction, skills I share with my students.

As an experience classroom teacher I have supported and worked with students with a range of skill levels and needs. I adapt my teaching to support and develop a range creative skills. Helping my students develop their technical painting/ drawing and scaffolding the required written work to ensure students complete the examination with success and leave my lesson with a sophisticated portfolio to aid applications to art institutes of higher education.
