About Quinn
I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and anyone returning to singing after a break. My goal is to create a low-pressure, encouraging space where learning feels enjoyable and inspiring.
I focus on breathwork, vocal relaxation, posture, and mindfulness in music to help students develop healthy technique and a beautiful, expressive tone. Lessons are tailored to each person’s needs, guiding them step by step toward confident singing. I teach a variety of genres, including Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult music.
I am passionate about helping people discover singing as a form of self-care, creativity, and personal expression. Whether you want to sing for fun, improve your voice, or explore new styles, I provide supportive guidance every step of the way. My singing lessons focus on building strong music literacy and sight-singing skills for all types of singers. I work with students on notation reading, interval training, rhythm exercises, and harmony building. Each exercise strengthens the connection between the ear, mind, and voice. For orchestra members, lessons emphasize precision in reading scores, maintaining pitch accuracy, and blending within ensembles.
Steady practice helps them interpret complex harmonies and rhythms confidently. Crossover artists focus on flexibility, adapting notation and rhythm to different genres while strengthening improvisation skills. I incorporate modern tools like sight-singing apps, rhythm trainers, and notation software to make learning interactive and measurable. Students practice melodies, intervals, and rhythmic patterns digitally, then apply them vocally to solidify understanding. Regular exercises improve timing, intonation, and confidence.
Through consistent practice, both personas develop a stronger sense of musical structure and vocal independence.
