Hi, I’m a passionate guitar tutor with over 11 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on guitar. My teaching approach is designed to help every student grow their skills and confidence on the guitar. I focus on building a strong foundation in classical fingerpicking, staff reading, hybrid picking techniques, and tonal control. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or aspiring professional.
I emphasize both technique and musical expression. Students learn to read music, understand rhythm, and develop control over tone and dynamics. I also incorporate exercises to strengthen finger independence and speed while keeping playing enjoyable.
I guide students in exploring different styles, from acoustic and jazz to rock and modern electric guitar. My approach encourages creativity, helping students develop their own musical voice. I support ambitious learners in mastering complex pieces and recording-ready skills, helping them excel in performances and personal projects.
Lessons are interactive and hands-on. I use real songs, exercises, and improvisation to make learning practical and fun. My goal is not just to teach notes and techniques, but to inspire a lifelong passion for guitar.
