About Nadia
I am a teaching fellow in higher education in London, UK, and am originally from Canada. I have been teaching chemistry at the university level for 2 years now in the UK, and before coming to the UK I was a teacher and tutor at my previous institution in Canada for 6 years. I have a lot of experience of working closely with a variety of learners, and have a passion for helping students to feel confident in their science modules.

I like to run my tutoring sessions by asking the student the exact areas they would like focus brought to. Sometimes, students are struggling with the topic as a whole, so I will prep practice questions ahead of time of more fundamental concepts that we will work through together. As chemistry is essentially applying maths to science, I like to teach any of the topics through applied problems and working through the solutions together so the student can feel confident with how to answer those types of questions.
